Smart Pump Control

Normally, a booster pump is needed to run 24/7 to feed pool water to the dehumidifier for pool water heating. PoolPak® has a control feature to deactivate the pump circulating water to the pool water condenser when there is no pool water heating need. As PoolPak® units will only reject heat to the water while a compressor is active, real operational savings on pump energy of 40% or more per year can be expected.

This feature is optional for our ComPak PCP and PoolPak® PPK Series. If enabled, field mounting of the pool water sensor is required to ensure reliable measurement of pool water temperature during off cycles.
